The portrait process

Every portrait begins with your favorite photographs and a conversation about what makes your subject special. I work carefully in graphite on archival paper, striving for realism while preserving my personal artistic style and expression. Each piece is carefully drawn by hand to capture not only accurate detail, but the character and presence that make your subject unique.

PRICING REFLECTS BOTH SIZE AND NUMBER OF SUBJECTS INCLUDED IN THE PORTRAIT.

8 x 10 - $450

Ideal for 1 subject

9 x 12 - $650

1-2 subjects

11 x 14 - $850

Up to 3 subjects

16 x 20 - $1050 +

Multiple subjects or detailed compositions

Additional subjects may be added for an additional fee. Larger custom sizes available upon request

The portrait Timing /commission policy

Completion time is determined by the size and level of detail in each portrait. An 8 x 10 portrait is typically completed within 3-4 weeks. Larger or more detailed pieces may require additional time. You will receive updates throughout the process as your portrait comes to life.

COMMISSION POLICY

A 50% deposit is required to begin your portrait, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Because each portrait is custom created, the deposit becomes non-refundable once work has begun.
